I’ve been struggling with repetitive stress injuries that have affected my work and personal life for most of my adulthood, and have found Rick to be such an inspiration. I certainly would never wish his injuries on him (or anyone for that matter), but ironically I think they’ve made him a more musically creative drummer.

Columbia, SC.... I think it was 1988. I was 17, singing along and screaming my little heart out. Best. Concert. Ever! 🥰 Rick Allen was already an amazing drummer befire the accident, but to adapt to the changes and overcome the challenges he faced... truly an inspiration. ❤️ 🥁

I remember that TFI Friday back in the 90’s was the poster boy of all British music, it tended to focus on the most popular bands at the time, then the lads from Sheffield popped up and blew everything away with this awesome performance, UK music at that time was untouchable

I admire this man so much! He could have given up, sunk into a deep depression, become addicted to drugs or alcohol, but instead he’s worked hard at his recovery and is doing so much for charity. Rick, you’re amazing!
